Fundraising
Welcome to the 1st T&C Scout Group fundraising page.
Fundraising is an important part of any Scout Group. Fundraising helps us buy and maintain equipment for various scouting activities, camps and community projects.
There are also many ways that you can help us with fundraising. From donating/sourcing equipment or raffle prizes, helping at annual community events, signing up to one of our local community fund schemes or coming along to our annual quiz.
Your employer may also run Time2Give or matched funding schemes that we could benefit from.

Co-op Membership
Co-op Local Community Fund The Co-op Local Community Fund helps pay for local projects that our members care about.
Every time our members shop at Co-op, 1% of what they spend on selected own-branded products and services goes to help fund community projects where they live.
We also give all money raised from shopping bag sales to our causes, to help even more.

Reading Scout & Guide Shop
For all your Scouting and Guiding requirements. If we haven’t got it we can get it!
Parents
We offer 10% cashback on all purchases from the Reading Scout & Guide Shop, to the Group/Unit to which you family belongs!
All you need to do is save your shop receipts and pass them to your Group/Unit Leader. At the end of the summer term, your Group/Unit Treasurer sends the receipts back to us and we send them a cheque for 10% of all purchases* during that year (September to July). It’s as simple as that!
